After a long period of work, a few Saturdays with may students participating in the design and construction of trolley 92, we made it to Race Day. Time ran out on us but we had a trolley that was competitive. We still have more refinement, development and testing to do for 2011. Unfortunately after a few races down Collingwood Street, we sustained a buckle in the left rear wheel as 92 was being loaded onto a truck.. A great day was had by all. A special thanks to the chosen drivers and their parents for their help; to Mr. Foster for his help on race day; to our N.I.S. Grand Bob who has put many hours into our school and the trolley. We will be looking for more helpers and drivers for 2011.
