Welcome to Nelson Intermediate…
Nelson Intermediate School is located at 112 Tipahi Street, Nelson South.
You are welcome to come and visit the school. Individual appointments can be made with members of the school senior management team, via the office. Please email admin@nelsonintermediate.school.nz or call 03 548 9572
Open afternoons for prospective students are held in Term 3. Please see the calendar for upcoming dates.
If you would like to enrol your child please download and complete all sections of the Enrolment Form, and email admin@nelsonintermediate.school.nz with this and a copy of their birth certificate/passport, and a copy of your child’s immunisation certificate. Please also send documents relating to your child’s immigration status if necessary. You are welcome to pop into the school office and we will take the copies of the relevant documents if that is easier.
Other forms to complete if required:
If you child requires any medication while at school please also complete the Medicine Authority Form and an adult must bring this to the school with the medication in its original packaging.
BUSES
School buses are available for those who live outside of the immediate school zone. These buses travel from Hira, Tui-Glen, Atawhai, The Wood and Founders Park. Buses are provided for ākonga who live further than 3.2km from Nelson Intermediate.
Further bus information can be found on the School Info page, and you will also need to complete a Bus Form when you know which route your child will be traveling on (routes can be found at the bottom of the ‘School Info’ page).
